Park Lane Recruitment is a real family business. Established in May 2016 by husband and wife, Tim Lane (MD) and Karen Lane (FD) and supported by both their son Jordan Lane (back-office website and IT support) and daughter Dawn Lane (as Customer Success and Onboarding Executive).
Also, Park Lane has direct associates supporting our USA recruitment and because of being part of (and Tim being a Director of) the two biggest recruiter networks (TEAM in the UK) and NPAworldwide globally, we can call on LOCAL recruiting expertise for ANY type of role, in ANY location around the world.
We work with selected clients - often on an exclusive basis - across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the USA to find them mid to senior to C-level candidates across IT, Technology, Engineering, Legal, HR and Finance roles in a wide variety of sectors including all aspects of Software, Defence, AI, CyberSecurity, and many others.
Meet Our Founder
TIM LANE
After an early IT Tech career (yes, an IT Recruiter from an IT background!) Tim moved into IT Recruitment in 1985. He's built and managed high-performing sales teams and delivered growth across IT Recruitment, E-Learning and International Education. Tim always leads from the front and is still very much a hands-on Recruiter with a quiet, confident, consultative, strategic approach.
Tim works closely with blue-chip as well as start-up and mid-tier clients to deliver quality recruitment services. He excels in multi-national, multi-cultural situations especially with C-Level contacts where he is always looking to develop long-term win-win relationships based on speed, value, and dependability, backed up by innovative ideas, partnership, and courtesy.
Tim also represented the US IT Services company, EMW, as their European Recruitment Manager for some years. working closely with a range of recruiters to bring the best IT, Cyber Security, and other technical contract talent into NATO. Tim has been a provider of contractors to NATO since 2009 and at any one time has NATO contractors working not only in Belgium, but Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Portugal, and the UK.
Tim is very hands-on and is comfortable speaking on recruitment matters to small or large groups; he is the author of a business book, has written articles for trade publications and has spoken at numerous conferences around the world.
