Duties & Role:
- Providing functional support for the Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Supply Chain Management modules.
- The role will report to the NBAC Oracle EBS Service Delivery Manager.
- Provide functional level 2 and 3 support within the area of expertise. Work on the change request backlog and provide support for incidents.
Requirements:
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- A minimum of 5 years recent practical experience as Oracle EBS Functional Consultant on Oracle EBS 12.2, demonstrating a 24 months sustained period of performance on the previous 2 most recent assignments.
- Basic SQL and SQL*Plus knowledge.
- Familiarity with configuration management and versioning procedures and tools.
- Able to work under pressure, on own initiative and without constant supervision, to strict and tight deadlines.
- A good team player and a good communicator.
- Experience of working in a team that delivers a highly available service.
- Experience with writing detailed functional design documents based on new or changed business requirements.
- Experience with the review of business procedures and functional setup.
- Experience with making recommendations for changes, improvements etc. based on best business practices.
- Experience with preparing, running and documenting unit tests, system tests and user acceptance tests.
- English proficiency level: SLP 3333 according to STANAG 6001.
- Excellent understanding of the data model for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1/12.2.
- Working knowledge of the Oracle Unified Method (OUM) and/or the Oracle Application Implementation Methodology (AIM).
- Detailed knowledge of and experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1/12.2 focused on Supply Chain Management, including but not limited to:
- Excellent understanding of Oracle Inventory, Purchasing & Order Management;
- Excellent understanding of the Oracle Internal Requisitioning process;
- Strong understanding of the integration of Purchasing, Inventory & Order Management with Accounts Payable and Financials, including Fixed assets;
- Strong understanding of Inventory Cost Accounting fundamentals;
- Good understanding of Oracle Project Accounting (Billing/Costing) Basics and the integration with the different Logistics Modules;
- Good Knowledge and experience with all different Logistics approval workflows;
- Good understanding of month-end and year-end processes for Logistics Modules;
- Good knowledge of Inventory Organization structure fundamentals;
- Good knowledge of Item Codification Fundamentals in Oracle Inventory;
- Good understanding of Subledger Accounting Engine (SLA) for Logistics Modules.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) with Oracle Install Base, Oracle Inventory and Oracle Purchasing.
- Understanding of the integration of Oracle EAM with Oracle Inventory and Oracle Purchasing.
- Good understanding of the integration with Financials, including Fixed Assets.
