Duties & Role:
- Acting as the NATO Enterprise Change Manager for two large scale ICT changes projects within NATO.
- Define strong governance and ways of working around how change managers will consult and integrate into project teams.
- Create a comprehensive change management plan for the project in consultation with the project manager
- Provide expert OCM services to project teams and apply the tools, templates and methodology to ensure project success. Particularly focusing on diagnosing potential threats and strong communications.
- Act as a link between the Project Manager, CDT and NCIA to upskill, embed and continuously develop the new OCM Framework.
- Deliver Organisational Change Management workshops, upskilling sessions, tailored project change sessions and any other ad-hoc requests for OCM support, in your capacity as a subject matter expert.
- Work with CDT & NCIA to create a benchmark and reporting mechanism to assess project success from a change management perspective
- Support the Implementation Project Manager in embedding and delivering the Enterprise OCM Framework ensuring project milestones are met on time and on budget.
- Effectively manage and support the workload and development of the project assistant.
- Cover for selected activities from the main Project Manager during her maternity leave
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- A Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 4 years post-related experience.
- Previous experience in Project/Organisational Change Management frameworks and projects.
- Experience in leading complex projects/teams successfully.
- Experience working in an international environment and/or internally dispersed project teams.
- Understanding of NATO landscape and the NCIA OCM Framework is a plus, as is having attended a workshop or applied the framework to a change.
- Strong communications skills and experience in interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Experience leading change efforts in transformational projects in IT sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Self-sufficient and motivated to deliver best in class services.
- Given the NATO-wide nature of the project and the NATO language requirements, speaking both English and French is desired.
