Duties & Role:
- Assist in the development of training materials ensuring content aligns with the course design, SOW requirements and Academy standards.
- Coordinate and support reviews of developed training materials to ensure alignment with learning objectives, SOW requirements and Academy standards prior to delivery.
- Assist in the receipt and validation of training solutions delivered by industry partners.
- Provide administrative support in the coordination of TNA Working Groups and training kick-off meetings, including scheduling, minute-taking, and document distribution.
- Ensure web-based courses, micro-learning modules, and interactive exercises are correctly integrated into the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Ensure new courses are integrated and updated in the NCI Academy course pipeline
- Assist in the execution of training development projects by ensuring all required training materials and training deliverables are prepared and available as per project timelines.
- Assist in the adaptation and tailoring of in-house training solutions following the direction of the senior learning designers.
- Contribute to the maintenance of existing training materials and documentation (e.g. CCDs, lesson plans, student handouts, schedule of instruction) based on the direction of the senior learning designers.
- Assist LDDB with changes to the LDDB pipeline and NCI Academy course catalogue.
- Performs other duties as may be required.
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience;
- Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 8 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in supporting projects and services in a customer facing role;
- Experience with industry standard learning design / development models such as ADDIE, the Successive Approximation Model (SAM) or Action mapping
- Technical and/or operational knowledge in NATO COI / FAS (Land C2, Air C2, Maritime C2, Logistics, Planning JISR)
- Technical and/or operational knowledge in Command and Control Functional Services (C2FS)
- Technical and/or operational knowledge in Cyber Security, Cyber Defence and boundary protection
- Experience in McAfee ePolicy architectures
- Certifications (or equivalent) in Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, VMWare VCP, CCNA
- Practical experience administering or uploading content to a Learning Management System (e.g., Moodle).
- Experience in providing instruction on technical subjects to both non-technical personnel as well as technical specialists.
- Experience with working in military / technical environments
- Familiarity with AGILE or other project management methodologies.
- Experience contributing to Training Needs Analysis
- Experience with authoring and developments tools such as Adobe captivate, Articulate Storyline
