Duties & Role:
- Actively participate in operational requirement alignment and planning phases of projects.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support the definition of the project support model and associated requirements.
- Contribute to the coordination and follow-up of activities required for projects transitioning to Service Operations.
- Prepare and maintain acceptance criteria for projects transitioning to Service Operations.
- Support the review of project deliverables against acceptance criteria and operational requirements.
- Review relevant project documentation to assess alignment with service operation requirements and provide comments and recommendations.
- Monitor project transition activities and follow up on identified actions, dependencies and outstanding items.
- Ensure appropriate stakeholder engagement and communication throughout project transition activities.
- Deputise for higher-grade staff, if required.
- Perform other duties as may be required.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience.
- Practical experience in the implementation of ITIL Service Operations processes, preferably in an Operations Centre environment.
- Experience working in a large corporate environment with matrixed structures.
- Familiarity with analysing and reviewing business processes, project management, and preparing business documentation.
- Exposure to assessing feasibility of business process changes and recommending new approaches.
- Good knowledge and experience of Telecommunications/Network/Information Technology solutions and products.
