Job Description:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing to join our team. This role focuses on supporting capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, equipment troubleshooting, PLC programming, and contractor management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with equipment installations and a practical approach to maintaining and optimizing industrial control systems.
 
Skills, qualifications, and experience:

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and make sound decisions based on data.
• Proficient in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
• Working knowledge of industrial and commercial control systems.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Practical, hands-on approach to equipment maintenance and installation, with minimal focus on design.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Controls required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading CAPEX projects and equipment installations.
• Hands-on expertise in PLC programming, equipment troubleshooting, and control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage contractors and oversee project execution.
• Experience with power distribution and industrial instrumentation/controls.
