Responsibilities
- Design and develop front-end interfaces for Learning Zone (LZ) applications — especially the "Create Course" Action App within the ACE (Administer Courses and Events) system.
- Translate functional and user requirements into clear, accessible, and technically strong user interfaces.
- Work closely with the Learning Zone team, including developers, instructors, and subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Design and test API calls to make sure front-end and back-end systems work together smoothly.
- Create e-learning content and modules using common industry tools such as Articulate Rise and Adobe Suite.
- Take part in interviews and feedback sessions with users to improve designs.
- Test, validate, and upload completed interfaces to the TEST server environment.
- Perform additional front-end or e-learning development tasks during the 5-year contract when needed.
- Attend occasional meetings or short trips to the Aviation Learning Centre in Luxembourg.
Technical & Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience analysing functional requirements and designing user interfaces.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and ASP.NET MVC (Visual Studio).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in e-learning development, ideally using Articulate Rise and Adobe Suite.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing e-learning storyboards, preferably in an air traffic management or training context.
- At least 3 years of experience with ASP.NET Webpages, npm, SQL, and version control (DevOps or GitHub).
- Experience integrating software within existing systems (e.g., menus or embedded pages).
- At least 1 year of experience creating content in a Learning Management System (LMS), ideally IMC Learning Suite.
- Strong skills in debugging, maintenance, and ensuring compatibility for long-term use.
- Excellent written and spoken English, including communication with non-native speakers and non-technical users.
- Ability to work remotely while keeping core working hours (10:00-16:00 CET/CEST).
- Team player who can work effectively with technical staff, end-users, and management.
- Provide a proof of concept (PoC) web application showing API handling, calendar functions, and data validation.
- Submit task breakdowns, effort estimates, and documentation as part of the proposal.
- Must agree to all data protection, security, and confidentiality requirements.
