Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer – London, Kingston, or Kitchener, ON (Hybrid)
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of building services projects across sectors such as multi-unit residential (MUR), healthcare, commercial, industrial, and institutional. You’ll play a key role in designing and drafting electrical systems and coordinating project efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
- Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and voice/data communications systems
- Produce technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and sales representatives
- Conduct site visits and provide support during construction phases
- Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of electrical design experience in building construction (minimum 5 years in Ontario)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- In-depth knowledge of OBC, OESC, and applicable codes
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and guide junior team members
