About the Role
Engineers in this position will contribute across the full development lifecycle, including:
- Driving projects from concept and prototyping through production-scale deployment
- Designing and implementing smart agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and AI-enabled research tools
- Building and deploying AI-powered systems to accelerate drug discovery programs and increase research productivity
- Improving ML model training quality and efficiency through intelligent data pipelines, workflow automation, and feedback loops
- Integrating cutting-edge AI techniques with scientific software and computational research platforms
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- A strong track record of designing and building robust software systems and infrastructure
- Fluency in Python and modern software engineering best practices
- Experience developing scalable AI/ML systems or tooling
- Ability to automate complex workflows and develop intelligent code generation or agent-based systems
- Intellectual curiosity, versatility, and a history of technical achievement

Compensation & Benefits
- The expected annual base salary for this position is $250,000-$600,000, determined based on the nature and extent of prior experience and educational background.
