Job Description
We have been retained by our client to find them a world class  Head of Marketing / Customer Acquisition. The company's success is admirable. Now it is time for its new Head of Marketing / Customer Acquisition to join and continue the company's tremendous growth.

As a member of the company's Executive team, you will report into the CEO and play a critical role in ensuring the continued growth and success of the company. The Head of Marketing / Customer Acquisition is the strategic architect of the company's growth engine, with primary responsibility for designing and executing a sophisticated, multi-channel acquisition strategy. This role blends precision in digital marketing with high-touch brand positioning to scale a high-quality sales funnel. You will manage a specialized team and a multi-million-dollar budget, leveraging data, analytics, and emerging AI-driven search behaviors to ensure the company maintains a dominant market position and drives profitable, sustainable growth. Primary responsibilities include:
  • Own and execute the full-funnel digital acquisition strategy, including hands-on leadership of SEM (Paid Search) and SEO initiatives tailored to luxury or high-ticket services
  • Optimize for emerging AI-driven search behaviors, including Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), to ensure brand visibility and authority in evolving discovery environments
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with premium brands to generate high-quality referral channels
  • Collaborate with PR teams and agencies to enhance brand authority, increase share of voice, and secure placement in top-tier media and industry publications
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, experimentation, and data-driven decision making
  • Manage a multi-million-dollar acquisition budget with full ownership of performance metrics, including CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), LTV (Lifetime Value), and channel attribution
  • Develop and implement scalable acquisition strategies that align with company growth targets and brand positioning within the luxury market
  • Continuously test, analyze, and optimize campaign performance across channels to improve efficiency and conversion rates
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in  growth marketing  or  customer acquisition  at forward thinking companies
  • BA/BS degree   required ; MBA or related master's degree  nice to have
  • AI-mindset with examples of how you have  built AI tools to increase productivity  that have yielded demonstrable outcomes
  • Demonstrated success  scaling digital acquisition channels and managing large marketing budgets
  • Proven record of  driving measurable growth in competitive, premium markets
  • Experience  leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Notable  previous career "wins"  evidenced by successful long career tenure in data driven, strategic, customer acquisition type roles at other  fast-growing companies
  • Preference for candidates who have  recent tenure at smaller entrepreneurial companies  but might have worked for larger companies earlier in their career
  • Strong analytical mindset, leveraging data to guide  forecasting, strategic planning, and continuous performance improvement
  • Applicants must live within commuting distance to Boston, MA and not require any sponsorship.
Why is This a Great Opportunity

This company is not the typical tech, financial services, or healthcare company that often dominates the hiring landscape in the Boston, MA area. Our client company is a bit different - and is top in its market achieving $500m+ in revenue per year. The company's success is consistent year after year. Its customer base is large and brand loyal.
